Sustainable Bancroft is now Final
On May 10, 2011 Bancroft Town Council approved the final version of Sustainable Bancroft by a vote of 7-0.
They made a point of recognizing and thanking the volunteers who worked so hard to make this happen. You know who you are so give yourself a pat on the back.
The final version of the Sustainable Bancroft and the sustainability checklist have been posted on the site.

Other Cool Sustainability Ideas
There are lots of great ideas in the world of sustainability. Take for instance this article called Sharing and caring: the implications of collaborative consumption.
Another cool concept is placemaking which is an effort to create great public spaces, like Millennium Park or events like a farmer's market. For more info on placemaking click here.
